The Quantitative Development division collaborates closely with quantitative analysts and portfolio managers to design, implement, and utilize software solutions for research and trading applications.

As a vital member of the quantitative team, developers leverage contemporary development methodologies and engage with technical colleagues to ensure that the tools created are not only efficient but also elegantly designed, facilitating widespread adoption across the organization.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with quantitative analysts to architect and construct efficient, scalable workflows for research and trading.
  • Work in close collaboration with fellow quants and technology colleagues to maintain consistency across the organization, enhancing the reusability of core software components.
  • Support the development and upkeep of automated solutions for essential trading and research infrastructure.
  • Take ownership of projects throughout their entire production deployment lifecycle.
  • Enhance documentation and processes for end users, quantitative analysts, and development teams.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding projects and generate innovative ideas for potential development and research areas.
  • Contribute to the overarching data strategy of the firm.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in computational sciences, ideally in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with mathematical and statistical methodologies, such as regression analysis, time-series analysis, or constrained optimization is advantageous.
  • Proficient in processing and manipulating substantial data sets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for software development, data processing, calculations, and report generation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • A highly motivated and intellectually curious individual with a strong focus on automation.
  • Well-organized, proactive, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the financial sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent technical communication skills.
