Position Overview:
This opportunity is situated within the Quant Strategies Group. As a Quantitative Developer, you will engage with a leading quant trading team, gaining exposure to various facets of the organization, including data ingestion, high-performance computing, feature engineering, portfolio management, risk assessment, live execution, and post-trade evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement essential tools using Python for analysis, research, trading, and risk management.
  • Ensure the reliability of the data management pipeline and the accuracy of the underlying data, proactively identifying and resolving data-related issues.
  • Provide continuous maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems and platforms.
  • Maintain regular communication with team managers.
  • Collaborate across various functions with internal technology and data teams, researchers, traders, and external vendors.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of team information and adhere to business sensitivity protocols.
  • Stay informed about market trends and academic research to refine and adapt trading strategies.
  • Utilize machine learning and advanced methodologies to improve predictive capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in Python programming, particularly with libraries pertinent to data analysis and machine learning.
  • A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud technologies is advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a strong problem-solving orientation.
  • Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with traders and team members.
  • Familiarity with additional object-oriented programming languages such as C++ or Java is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in trading is also beneficial.
