We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Assistant to join our team at the University Medical Center of El Paso. The successful candidate will provide assistance in setting up and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies, as well as maintaining a clean environment in the Perioperative Service area.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the setup and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with Perioperative Environmental Service Associates to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Utilize effective communication skills to ensure seamless workflow and patient care.
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve equipment and supply-related issues.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on anesthesia procedures and best practices.
- One year of peroperative experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
