Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Leadership: Develop and implement departmental objectives, budgets, and strategies to ensure the efficient operation of our housekeeping services.
  • Staff Management: Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and maintain accurate inventory systems to ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available when needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with staff, management, and other departments to ensure that all needs are met and that our facilities are running smoothly.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents, speak effectively before groups, and create documents in Excel and Word.
