Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize hand tools to execute a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Ensure quality output by adhering to prescribed standards and continuously improving processes to meet production schedules.
  • Follow detailed instructions for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
  • Conduct complex electrical assemblies with minimal supervision, interpreting work orders and production drawings.
  • Position and align components accurately using jigs or fixtures.
  • Perform assembly operations such as crimping, soldering, and securing parts with hand and power tools.
  • Mount electronic components on chassis panels and conduct go/no-go testing to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Inspect assemblies against drawings and schematics to ensure accuracy.
  • Implement problem-solving techniques and process enhancements in your workflow.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address product issues and monitor work progress.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical assembly or as an electrical technician.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical equipment assembly.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain prolonged standing.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with electrical assembly tools and equipment.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to product quality.
