Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand tools to execute a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
- Ensure quality output by adhering to prescribed standards and continuously improving processes to meet production schedules.
- Follow detailed instructions for wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing.
- Conduct complex electrical assemblies with minimal supervision, interpreting work orders and production drawings.
- Position and align components accurately using jigs or fixtures.
- Perform assembly operations such as crimping, soldering, and securing parts with hand and power tools.
- Mount electronic components on chassis panels and conduct go/no-go testing to verify compliance with specifications.
- Inspect assemblies against drawings and schematics to ensure accuracy.
- Implement problem-solving techniques and process enhancements in your workflow.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address product issues and monitor work progress.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical assembly or as an electrical technician.
- Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with electrical equipment assembly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain prolonged standing.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with electrical assembly tools and equipment.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements.
- Attention to detail and dedication to product quality.
