About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at St. Gabriel's Hospice & Palliative Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospice care plans

  • Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals

  • Conduct patient assessments and create personalized care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Educate patients and families about care plans and symptom management

  • Document patient care activities accurately and timely

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Texas

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience (hospice experience preferred)

  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
