Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare federal and state income tax returns for corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations.
  • Accounting and Auditing: Perform fieldwork procedures in accounting and auditing engagements, including client inquiry, analytics, and testing.
  • Bookkeeping and Reconciliations: Perform basic accounting functions, including bookkeeping and reconciliations.
  • Client Communication: Build strong relationships with clients, management, and internal teams through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field. Master's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • CPA Certification: Must be on the CPA career track and have basic knowledge of accounting concepts.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle confidential information.
