Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) to join our team for an immediate travel position in Tacoma, WA.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment
  • Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines
  • Interact with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 1 year of recent acute care experience
  • NBRC-RRT certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS and NRP certifications may be required in some areas
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and have specific vision abilities

Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
