We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Mixing Production Associate to join our team at Vibram. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for performing various duties within the mixing department, including operating production equipment, assisting regular operators, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate production equipment as assigned to relieve or replace regular operators for brief or extended periods of time.
- Assist operators with tasks such as placing plastic sheets between slabs, supplying pallets and skids, and filling compounder's bins.
- Detect and report material or equipment problems, unusual situations to the team leader.
- Maintain equipment and area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and practices and employ all safety equipment and devices.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum 6-12 months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Oral and Written Communication - Speaks and writes clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions
