Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ephraim McDowell Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries by performing technical procedures to obtain radiographic films.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures using recognized techniques to minimize ionizing radiation
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens
  • Conduct basic laboratory procedures
  • Maintain and expand knowledge and skills to ensure professional accountability and growth
  • Contribute to the achievement of the organization's mission and philosophy by demonstrating dependability in job performance
Working Conditions

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will work in a radiation exposure area and be exposed to infectious materials, cuts, and abrasions from equipment. A flexible work schedule is required, and you must be able to move or position 25 pounds independently.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technologists
  • Minimum of three years as a staff radiographer preferred
  • Prior experience and/or training in laboratory procedures preferred
  • Must obtain phlebotomy certification within the orientation period
  • ICD-9 coding experience preferred
