Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team at Geisinger Medical Center. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing a variety of interventional procedures, including embolization, tumor embolization, and endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Interventionalists with procedures, diagnostic studies, and treatments
  • Operate and monitor equipment, including digital imaging systems
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, administer contrast media as directed by physicians, and provide radiation protection
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
  • Document medical information and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in quality control tests of equipment and notify leadership of any irregularities
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology
  • Certified Radiology Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
