  • Negotiating with underwriters to obtain suitable quotes and coverage.
  • Addressing inquiries and requests from clients and carriers promptly.
  • Maintaining regular communication with key client contacts and carrier representatives.

Additional tasks include:

  • Verifying the accuracy of insurance policies.
  • Processing endorsements efficiently.
  • Ensuring timely and precise documentation of correspondence, applications, quotes, and marketing materials in line with company protocols.
  • Issuing certificates of insurance as required.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, carriers, underwriters, and colleagues.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and navigate competing demands.
  • A minimum of 5 years of insurance experience, ideally in a Senior Account Manager or Account Manager role within an independent agency.
  • Experience with Agency Management Systems; familiarity with Applied EPIC is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
