Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team at Liberty Search Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting information for our growing real estate business.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger and preparing monthly financial statements for multiple entities.
  • Reconcile bank accounts on a weekly basis and supervise A/P and A/R functions.
  • Process bi-monthly construction draws, including invoicing and monitoring construction and development fees.
  • Record cash receipts and make bank deposits, while verifying and/or assisting with payment of invoices associated with accounts payable.
  • Provide analysis and detail on variances on the income statement and assist other departments with research projects.
  • Add bank budgets into Sage and perform monthly account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
  • Process multiple monthly partner reports for investors and process credit card transactions.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as they arise and maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Understanding of financial statements and highly detail-oriented.
  • Must have integrity, be accountable, be positive, and be able to work as a team.
  • Sage / Procore knowledge is preferred, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business is required.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in real estate or construction is a plus.
  • Candidates must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of the Denver Metro Area at the time of employment.
