Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

A forward-thinking Fin Tech company is seeking a seasoned Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their G&A leadership team. This critical role will lead the planning, forecasting, and analysis functions of the finance team, collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Develop and execute the overall financial planning process, including the Annual Plan, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year projections.
  • Analysis: Create and maintain complex financial models, analyze customer data to inform business improvements, and provide strategic insights to drive growth.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders across the organization to measure performance against Key Metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and provide proactive advice to leadership.
  • Reporting: Standardize and enhance reporting, create business performance dashboards, and deploy new analytics tools to support the company's growth and maturity.
  • Treasury and Cash Management: Manage debt, interest, and cash forecasts, and oversee the P&L.

Requirements:

  • BS degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • Familiarity with FP&A and BI/analytics tools like Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Tableau, and Quicksight.
  • Demonstrated track record of process improvement and change management.
  • Exceptional self-motivation, prioritization, initiative, and integrity.
  • Driven by intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management and investors.
