The selected Gastroenterologist will have the opportunity to engage in a faculty role within the Gastroenterology Section at Loma Linda University, contributing to the education and training of fellows, medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities: The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
- Diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal conditions with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Performing endoscopic procedures and consultations.
- Providing quality patient care in accordance with established gastroenterology standards.
- Engaging in educational activities, including teaching and mentoring medical trainees.
- Participating in research initiatives and quality improvement projects, with the potential for publication.
Work Schedule: The typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with no on-call duties. Flexible work arrangements may be considered, including part-time options.
