PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Pharmacy Operations Associate plays a vital role in the efficient packaging and distribution of prescription orders, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This position supports various operational areas, including production, patient care, and local distribution.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Efficiently package orders with precision.
  • Inspect and receive products in accordance with established practices.
  • Prepare and process orders for mail delivery.
  • Handle refrigerated order packaging following safety protocols.
  • Manage startup and shutdown tasks relevant to departmental needs.
  • Generate and review daily reports.
  • Organize orders in storage or on delivery pallets using appropriate equipment.
  • Secure package items to ensure safe transit.
  • Resolve equipment malfunctions to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Load and unload orders in designated areas.
  • Complete daily tasks in alignment with established practices.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Exercise caution to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations as outlined in training.
  • Timely disposal of waste materials using safety measures.
  • Track and trace missing or lost shipments.
  • Fulfill all assigned duties consistently and punctually.
  • Engage in additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including navigation and typing.
  • Familiarity with relevant software systems.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires the ability to stand, communicate, and use hands and fingers for various tasks. The employee may occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and depth perception.
