Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Retail Pharmacy Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and services, ensuring the quality and safety of medications, and contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and enter medication orders, dispense medications, and monitor patient medication use
  • Evaluate and disseminate comprehensive information about medications and their use to patients, families, staff, prescribers, and community
  • Monitor and assure the quality of medication use to provide quality pharmaceutical services
  • Assist in inventory control, care of supplies and equipment, and accurate cash handling
  • Participate in training of new staff and precepting pharmacy students, interns, and residents
  • Contribute to billing, record keeping, monthly audits, and other departmental activities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required)
  • Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Board of Pharmacy of the state in which they will be working (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota)
  • Ongoing continuing education and license renewal as required by the state Board of Pharmacy
  • BLS certified within 90 days from hire date
  • Immunization Delivery Certification completed within 1 year from hire date

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a shift rotation of Day Rotation (United States of America). The compensation range is $130,478 - $167,274 per year. Essentia Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
