Job Title: Retail Merchandise Associate

At TJ Maxx, we're all about delivering a unique shopping experience that's full of surprises. As a Retail Merchandise Associate, you'll play a key role in making that happen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying our customer experience principles.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, counting change back to customers according to established procedures.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Support and participate in store recovery, maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor.
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position has a starting pay range of $ to $ per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
