Big 5 Retail Sales Associate Job Description

As a Retail Sales Associate at Big 5, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a productive shopping experience for all customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing sales and service throughout the store
  • Ensuring a clean and organized merchandise display
  • Proposing add-on sales to customers
  • Answering customer inquiries and providing product information
  • Retrieving and stocking merchandise from storage areas

Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
