Compensation and Benefits Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our team at RF-SMART. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and administering our total rewards programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer compensation and benefits processes, including new hire onboarding, compensation, benefits, and retirement.
- Conduct research and analysis to determine employee benefit practices, benchmark industry trends, and track legislation.
- Develop and recommend employee benefit programs based on employee interests, costs, regulatory requirements, and competitive advantage.
- Communicate employee benefits through meetings, written announcements, and explanations.
- Administer leave of absence and resolve benefits claims related to disability, parental leave, etc.
- Collaborate with external vendors to gather data and understand benefit plan dynamics.
- Provide research and feedback on escalated customer service issues with third-party administrators.
- Maintain employee confidence by keeping benefit information confidential.
- Conduct compensation data analysis and provide insights to inform total rewards decisions.
- Assist with compensation analytics, merit cycles, and incentive reporting.
- Educate HR staff, managers, and employees on compensation and benefits planning and processes.
- Define, communicate, and deliver reporting and analytics to solve business issues.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR analyst experience with HRIS, compensation, and benefits responsibilities.
- Advanced knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws, EDI feeds, and resolving errors.
- Advanced knowledge of compensation and benefits, including FLSA.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS workflows, permissions, and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Suite skills.
