Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all assigned areas, including resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining rooms, shower rooms, public bathrooms, and offices.
  • Wipe all railings in your assigned area daily and dust mop all assigned areas, moving furniture away from walls.
  • Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
  • Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies.
  • Dust furniture and equipment.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
  • Clean the inside of resident room windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Stock housekeeping cart at the end of the day, keeping the cart in a clean orderly fashion with chemicals, not in use locked inside the cart.
  • Follow established safety precautions when using cleaning chemicals and use as directed.

Requirements:

  • Clean and maintain all assigned areas to a high standard.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
