Position Overview:
This role is centered around overseeing the operation of production lines within a food and dietary supplement manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, and upkeep of various machinery utilized in the production of liquid and powder products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment such as mixers, fillers, cappers, labelers, and palletizers.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections on products and machinery, ensuring compliance with weight, fill levels, torque, seals, labels, and codes.
  • Identify and resolve production issues, including jams, leaks, spills, and defects.
  • Assist in the changeover and sanitation of machinery, adhering to established standard operating procedures and sanitation protocols.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and promptly report any hazardous conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points.
  • Maintain accurate production records, documenting output, waste, downtime, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow production staff, team leads, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices such as lean manufacturing and Kaizen.
