Process Control Specialist

Cambria is seeking a highly skilled Process Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for implementing mechanical and procedural initiatives to maintain and improve our manufacturing and polishing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform live troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Facilitate initiatives designed to improve process efficiency and reduce downtime
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement control strategies to improve process performance and quality
- Monitor and improve slab quality to meet customer requirements
- Track OEE and address underperforming segments of metric to optimize production efficiency
- Partner with Project Engineering to design, commission, and optimize new equipment
- Maintain a strong understanding of mechanical processes and perform process control checks to ensure optimal performance
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- 1+ year of experience in process control or related field
- Ability to become certified in operating a forklift and overhead crane
- Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Understanding and utilization of statistics and control charts
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Push/pull 100 lbs.
- Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
