Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Planning Project Manager to join our team in Fresno, CA. As a key member of our Environmental Services Branch, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Coordinate with various branches to ensure seamless integration of project components
  • Maintain and develop project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external consultants
  • Track project progress, prepare progress reports, and communicate status updates to leadership
  • Ensure project deliverables comply with Authority standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track
  • Attend and participate in meetings with stakeholders, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to discuss project progress and address any concerns
  • Provide direction and support to project team members, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities
  • Gather and process data from engineering, design, and other technical experts for use in project documentation

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience with transportation or environmental project management
  • Master's degree in project management, environmental planning, environmental sciences, urban and regional planning, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
