Job Overview:
We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to develop and execute change and configuration management protocols for Ab Initio projects. The role involves:
1. Establishing and upholding configuration baselines.
2. Organizing and leading change control board meetings to assess and sanction proposed modifications.
3. Ensuring timely and efficient implementation of changes, minimizing disruptions to project schedules and outcomes.
4. Validating and approving configuration management for code transitions across various environments.
5. Maintaining the integrity of the Configuration Management repository and its data.
6. Monitoring for unauthorized alterations in controlled environments.
7. Compiling and disseminating audit reports from the Configuration Management repository.
8. Preparing and sharing release tag deployment sequence reports.
9. Conducting post-deployment validations for PLT and Production releases.
10. Offering guidance and support to project teams regarding best practices in change and configuration management.
