Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Construction Estimator and Project Coordinator with an established client base. In this role, you will oversee sales and operational support, which includes site assessments, fieldwork, job costing, obtaining quotes, proposal development, job walks, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to foster and maintain client relationships. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely project delivery, adherence to requirements, budget compliance, and, most importantly, exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough and precise plan take-offs or site evaluations for concrete construction, maintenance, and restoration.
2. Analyze and review construction plans, addendums, and details for accurate takeoff.
3. Present estimates to the sales manager, sales team, and clients.
4. Perform site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to grasp project scope.
5. Ensure a smooth estimating process that meets client expectations throughout the pre-bid, bid, and construction phases.
6. Manage projects from inception to completion by creating and updating a master project schedule, communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and superintendents.
7. Establish subcontract requirements and review them with the sales manager.
8. Monitor projects to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
9. Oversee change order pricing and justifications, ensuring written approval before commencing work and prompt invoicing upon completion.
10. Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and client representatives to identify project challenges and assist field superintendents in developing solutions.
11. Review field construction activities and provide support to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
12. Prepare detailed site maps illustrating the location and scope of work for client presentations.
13. Document existing conditions during site evaluations with photographs.

Secondary Duties:
1. Supervise the general collections process to ensure timely payment.
2. Monitor purchasing activities to guarantee quality materials and timely delivery at competitive prices.

Qualifications:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and team members. A sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Candidates should be resourceful problem solvers and possess a clean driving record. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks are crucial. A solid understanding of mathematics, analytical thinking, and geometry is required. Experience in the construction industry and project management is preferred. Candidates should be trustworthy, accountable, and dependable. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word, is preferred. Basic knowledge of current ADA standards is also beneficial.
