Position Summary:

As an Account Executive for Underwriting Solutions, your primary objective will be to enhance our market presence by engaging with potential clients and promoting our comprehensive suite of data-driven solutions. This role focuses on outside sales, where you will consultatively sell intricate solutions tailored to the needs of clients in the insurance sector.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with various internal teams to formulate strategies that enhance client engagement. You will receive support from a solutions consultant to align our offerings with client requirements, and our product team will be available to assist throughout the sales journey. Teamwork and collaboration across departments are crucial for success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify potential clients, assess sales opportunities, recommend suitable product solutions, and nurture client relationships to expand revenue streams.
  • Oversee all stages of the sales process, including lead generation, client meetings, value proposition development, financial structuring, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Engage with key stakeholders within client organizations to build consensus for agreements, working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Manage sales activities for a designated portfolio of accounts, achieving revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Utilize a defined solution selling methodology to guide clients in reevaluating their business challenges and directing them towards our solutions.
  • Develop precise sales forecasts and maintain sales activities in a CRM system.
  • Gain expertise in the marketing technology and data landscape to effectively apply Underwriting Solutions' offerings across various stages of client marketing and data operations.
  • Analyze clients' marketing strategies to create impactful use cases and value-driven plans.
  • Establish a strategic approach that leverages existing relationships and networks to generate leads for your sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting Solutions sales colleagues to share industry insights and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution sales, preferably within a SaaS or DaaS business model.
  • Proven experience selling data products at the executive level, particularly within marketing departments.
  • Confident and persuasive, capable of influencing traditional perspectives at all organizational levels.
  • Strong familiarity with the marketing technology and data industry, particularly in selling complex data and analytics products.
  • Experience in prospecting and effectively engaging initial contacts while navigating discussions to key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success as a top performer in a data and technology sales environment, particularly with large, complex enterprise deals.
  • Proficient in utilizing CRM tools for pipeline management and driving consistent sales processes.
