Job Summary

The Part-Time Sales Associate will play a key role in providing a positive customer experience, processing sales transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Assist customers with questions and concerns regarding products and services.
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales and Cash Handling
    • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
    • Handle customer payments, including cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
    • Count and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
    • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the store.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1 year of prior customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
