Capital Management Audit Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

This role entails conducting independent audit work during complex audit engagements for various Lines of Business (LOBs). Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing audit tests independently.
  • Assessing business impacts of identified issues and recommending severity ratings.
  • Building strong relationships with business partners.
  • Evaluating the control environment and promoting an inclusive workplace.
  • Applying expertise in products, business operations, and technical knowledge to support team development.

Reporting to a Director, this position is accountable for providing independent and objective assurance aimed at enhancing the organization’s operations and ensuring compliance with critical regulations. The role involves evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Audit Focus Areas:

The audit teams collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and Risk divisions to review processes including:

  • Capital adequacy and management
  • Enterprise capital stress testing
  • Baseline forecasting
  • Capital calculations using U.S. standardized and advanced approaches

Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years of experience in Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance, Finance, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with capital adequacy processes, stress testing, and baseline forecasting.
  • Intermediate skills in analytics and automation (SQL, SAS, Advanced Excel, and Access).
  • Ability to implement audit test plans within a risk-based methodology.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and flexibility.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
