Job Description:

The Work Management Coordinator is responsible for receiving and managing work requests from the campus community. This role involves prioritizing, processing, and scheduling tasks, as well as overseeing preventative maintenance for equipment. Effective communication with faculty, staff, and students is essential to keep them informed about their requests.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work Request Management: Receive and log work requests into the management system, prioritize tasks, and schedule accordingly. Follow up with stakeholders to inform them of any delays and ensure timely completion of work orders and maintenance tasks.

2. Key and Access Management: Issue and track building keys for mechanics, ensuring they are returned promptly. Manage contractor access, including issuing badges and notifying mechanics of arrivals.

3. Event Coordination: Gather weekly event information and create work orders for necessary services. Generate reports for temperature adjustments and billing related to events.

4. Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with mechanics and environmental services staff via radio for urgent requests and emergencies.

5. Transportation Coordination: Schedule drivers and vehicles for campus trips, ensuring all necessary information is provided. Assist with vehicle rental paperwork and maintain records for billing purposes.

6. Record Keeping: Update and maintain records for all campus buildings and equipment. Ensure the management system reflects current information post-project completion.

7. Pest Control Management: Handle pest control requests by assigning appropriate personnel and logging information for follow-up visits.

Education Requirements:

Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Associate's Degree

Professional Experience:

Required: 5 years of experience in computerized dispatching systems.
Preferred: 5 years of experience in a college or university setting.
