Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives for the Solutions & Opportunities Support (SOS) department, aimed at enhancing the satisfaction of individuals receiving support throughout the agency.
  • Develop a standardized approach for resolving conflicts or concerns raised by individuals, families, or guardians, emphasizing active listening, empathy, and de-escalation techniques to facilitate constructive dialogue.
  • Support Community Living Service (CLS) teams by providing solutions that promote active listening and de-escalation strategies to aid in conflict resolution.
  • Ensure a responsive, ethical, and effective approach to meet the urgent needs of individuals and families receiving support.
  • Monitor service quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review reports regarding the quality and efficiency of support services and solutions implemented.
  • Collaborate with the SOS director to track the progress of the Objective Key Response (OKR) and Key Performance Index (KPI) for the SOS department.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in a director-level management role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, empathy, active listening skills, conflict resolution expertise, and proficiency in teamwork and collaboration.
