Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Offer high-quality support to TPO, NDC, and Retail Loan Officers, Account Executives, and Brokers through email, phone, and online channels.
  2. Accurately complete Bank Statement Analysis requests from sales partners, meeting specified turn times.
  3. Clearly communicate analysis findings to stakeholders, aligning with established departmental standards.
  4. Oversee BPO partner delivery and completion of Bank Statement Analyses.
  5. Evaluate the quality of Bank Statement Analysis work performed by BPO partners.
  6. Maintain deep underwriting knowledge related to documenting and clearing loan conditions.
  7. Expertly analyze complex personal/business tax returns to calculate qualifying monthly income.
  8. Collaborate closely with sales partners to structure challenging loan scenarios.
  9. Demonstrate expertise in mortgage origination activities, loan programs, and regulatory requirements.
  10. Ensure proficiency in using the TPO and NDC Portal to address production-related issues.
  11. Store and manage facilities for keeping completed Bank Statement Analyses and Scenario Grades.
  12. Participate in regular collaboration with Mortgage Sales Teams and Operations staff (Retail and TPO).
  13. Review condominium projects to assess compliance with program requirements.
  14. Perform other tasks as needed.

About You:

  • Able to deliver exceptional oral communication skills and written communication skills.
  • Possess exceptional reading skills, customer service skills, diplomatic negotiation skills, math aptitude, organizational time management skills, computer literacy, proficient keyboard skills, professional presentation skills, and adaptability.
  • Must have mortgage wholesale/Non-QM underwriting experience recommended, holding a High School Diploma or Equivalent degree and Encompass Software Experience required.
  • Background should include at least 5 years underwriting experience (UW or secondary).
