Responsibilities- Physical Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients, identify their needs, and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Medication Administration and Management: Safely administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as needed to prevent adverse reactions.
- Patient Safety and Education: Implement evidence-based safety protocols, educate patients and families on disease management, and promote healthy behaviors to prevent complications.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Assume charge nurse responsibilities, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and provide guidance and support to new staff members.
- Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient information, communicate effectively with colleagues and healthcare providers, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Certifications: Current RN licensure, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, and trauma hours
- Experience: Minimum 0-6 months of experience in an acute care setting
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and be exposed to various physical and emotional demands of patient care.
