Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a group home setting. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to individuals in a dynamic and flexible environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nursing plans to support the health care needs of individuals
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and monitoring for any side effects or reactions
  • Monitor medical and dental needs, addressing any health issues promptly and coordinating with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals to create and implement effective care plans
  • Act swiftly and effectively in medical emergencies, providing first aid and emergency interventions as needed
  • Educate individuals and staff about health conditions and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
Requirements:
  • Valid RN license and current registration in CT
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Experience in group home, long-term care, or similar settings preferred
  • Strong clinical skills, with a focus on assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
