About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer II to lead the management of Spectrum's mobile testing environments and ensure the seamless delivery of end-to-end mobile related testing across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other test teams, to manage testing infrastructure, deployments, and implement automation.
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality testing cycle releases.
  • Design, implement, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot systems in assigned areas.
  • Provide Engineering Technical support and guidance to regional personnel and ensure all technical integration, changes, standards, and documentation are met.
  • Mentor and guide the work of senior technical staff.
Requirements
  • Engineering work experience years
  • Project management work experience years
  • Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience
  • Extensive understanding of software source control tools such as GitLab
  • Advanced knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet, and Transport technologies and protocols
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
  • Knowledge of company products and services
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
  • Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training preferred (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
