We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer II to lead the management of Spectrum's mobile testing environments and ensure the seamless delivery of end-to-end mobile related testing across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other test teams, to manage testing infrastructure, deployments, and implement automation.
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality testing cycle releases.
- Design, implement, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot systems in assigned areas.
- Provide Engineering Technical support and guidance to regional personnel and ensure all technical integration, changes, standards, and documentation are met.
- Mentor and guide the work of senior technical staff.
- Engineering work experience years
- Project management work experience years
- Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or related work experience
- Extensive understanding of software source control tools such as GitLab
- Advanced knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet, and Transport technologies and protocols
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification
- Knowledge of company products and services
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Industry and vendor-specific certifications and training preferred (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, etc.)
