At Commercial Contracting Corporation (CCC), we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for assisting with project scheduling, project buyout, estimating, document control, and management of self-perform and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document controls maintained and updated as needed: pre-construction documents, submittals, RFIs / DCRs, punch list(s) & closeout.
  • Assist with project scheduling (Microsoft Project /Primavera).
  • Assist with project buyout.
  • Assist with project startup.
  • Draft letters of intent, purchase orders and master sub agreements as needed.
  • Ownership of project submittal process.
  • Draft submittal log for PM review.
  • Process submittals from vendors & subs; maintain submittal log throughout project.
  • Verify shop drawings.
  • Communicate status of submittal to Project Manager & team.
  • Assist with estimating (budgets, bulletins, and change request/field order quotations).
  • Assist with management of self-perform and subcontractor scope coordination with field supervision.
  • Assist with job cost tracking & management.
  • Assist with project closeout.
  • Maintain positive and open relationships with customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years' experience and/or internship with a GC/CM organization.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office suite, FTP sites and document control programs.
  • Experience with SAGE, Procore or Pro Log preferred.
