Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Officer to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, distribution, and management of all company property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of company assets, ensuring accurate inventory records and compliance with government regulations.
  • Conduct regular physical inventories to reconcile actual inventory against property records, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department and other functional areas to ensure seamless receiving activities.
  • Supervise and train students assigned to the Property/Logistics area, providing guidance on property management and inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and directives related to property control, including the government excess property acquisition program.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Finance, Property, and Purchasing departments to address vendor issues and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new and current employees, promoting career development and adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with staff from all departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with Federal Government property and inventory requirements, warehousing, and inventory control preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and meeting company insurability requirements.
  • Computer literacy in word processing and Microsoft Suite of applications.
