We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Houseperson Attendant at Congressional Country Club.

As a Banquet Houseperson Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting the Banquet and Food & Beverage Department to set up and break down events. You will maintain a helpful, courteous, respectful, and professional demeanor with all other departments, team members, membership, and their guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Banquet Staff and Clubhouse Staff
  • Realigning furniture according to the floor plan
  • Setting up and breaking down events as directed
  • Stocking storage rooms with supplies
  • Cleaning member and event spaces
  • Performing other tasks as assigned (i.e., vacuuming, and cleaning public areas)
  • Maintaining security for guests and property by following all security and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • High School or Equivalent Degree, required
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members, other department employees, members, and guests
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, and reach repeatedly over time
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required
  • Ability to understand the essential procedures of cleaning and sanitizing
