Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Trade Strategy to develop and execute strategic sales business plans, driving improved gross revenue, net revenue, and operating income. This role will involve collaborating with Field Sales to identify and implement profit-positive business growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize syndicated data and internal metrics to evaluate and select customer-specific trade rates and slotting approvals with minimal risks.
- Review customer promotional spending plans in MEI for effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with guidelines and budgets.
- Identify specific examples of trade spending effectiveness best practices and share across the Retail Sales team.
- Assist the Director on major MAPS initiatives, including annual planning, core void identification and closure, new item launches budget reconciliation, and customer-specific growth projects.
- Working towards a bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing / Business Admin and completed at least one year of coursework.
- Ability to work well under pressure with strong ability to multi-task.
- Highly detailed with strong organizational and operating skills.
- Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power Bi.
- Strong communications skills, including writing and communication skills, and ability to interact and persuade individuals at various levels of the organization.
