Position Overview:
Primary Talent Partners is seeking a Senior Technician for Production Operations to support our esteemed pharmaceutical manufacturing client.
Contract Details:
This role is a full-time contract position with the potential for extension or conversion.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $21.50; W2 contract, no paid time off, and no benefits.
Work Schedule:
Shifts available are primarily 2nd and 3rd, with most hours occurring during the 3rd shift from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday. Flexibility in location may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Technician, you will:
1. Collaborate with team members to accurately weigh, blend, and test bulk reagents, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and other specified guidelines.
2. Participate in 5S initiatives within manufacturing areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization of production zones and blending equipment.
3. Maintain current training records and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, particularly in bulk formulation across various shifts.
Support Requirements:
Availability to assist on 1st Shift from 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM on Fridays.
Essential Qualifications:
- An Associate's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, engineering) or equivalent experience.
- No prior experience is necessary; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong teamwork abilities.
- Proficient analytical skills and familiarity with the scientific method.
- Experience in bulk chemical, reagent, or consumable goods manufacturing is advantageous.
