Electromechanical Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at L'Oréal USA. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of all packaging machinery and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including packaging machinery and systems.
  • Lead TPM methodologies on production lines and use data to drive improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting or equivalent education/training/certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
  • Basic understanding of electricity and motor controls.
  • Understanding of machine safety standards and equipment design best practices.
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic computer skills.
