**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Motive Companies. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Distribution Center's computer systems, telecommunications, and network infrastructure.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Monitor and troubleshoot all Distribution Center computer systems, telecommunications, and network infrastructure to ensure continuous operation
* Serve as a project leader for various systematic and operational projects within the Distribution Center, reporting status to the IT Supervisor
* Assist the IT Supervisor in making recommendations concerning installations, maintenance, and planning of current projects
* Maintain comprehensive and detailed records of equipment inventory
* Coordinate preventative maintenance and corrective programs with vendor service personnel
* Request, create, delete, and manage SCAN user profiles, conduct security audits
* Set up individual user computers and peripheral devices on the network
* Identify and resolve problems, clean and reconfigure equipment, make repairs, and coordinate service
* Install and remove software
* Interface with Home Office Systems Division regarding application operations
* Provide training and technical assistance to Distribution Center users as necessary
* Coordinate the ordering of supplies and stock, maintain inventory of supplies as necessary
**Requirements:**
* College degree in Business or IT-related major
* Experience can be used in place of education requirement
* Technical systems training preferred
* Good data entry and typing skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
* Ability to travel between local Compton locations as needed
**Compensation:**
* Hourly rate: $23 per hour
