Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate various extruders independently, adhering to established specifications.
2. Identify and report any heating or cooling irregularities in machinery.
3. Manage the startup and shutdown processes of extruders without assistance.
4. Assist in the setup of all extruders, ensuring minimal scrap during job or color transitions.
5. Make necessary adjustments to the die and monitor the feed and mixing systems for optimal performance.
6. Ensure accurate formulation and rates for different product types.
7. Distinguish and match colors based on sample references.
8. Produce tightly wound rolls that meet specified width and gauge requirements.
9. Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
10. Document all production metrics accurately, including measurements, weights, and shift details.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves standing for the majority of the shift, with responsibilities that include:
- Frequent walking and handling of products.
- Occasional climbing and balancing tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and manage heavier foam rolls.

Safety Compliance:
The Plastic Sheet Production Specialist must comply with all safety regulations and report any unsafe practices. Responsibilities include:
- Adhering to facility rules and regulations.
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and reporting any defects.
- Reporting all incidents, including near misses and injuries.

Work Environment:
This role is situated in a manufacturing setting, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and operational hazards.
