About the Role

This role is responsible for providing patient-related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in our independent unit. You will assist, observe, and report patient changes to licensed caregivers and maintain accurate medical record documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides and collaborates direct patient care services under the direct supervisor of a licensed caregiver.
  • Assists, observes, and reports changes in patient condition to licensed caregivers and maintains accurate medical record documentation.
  • Addresses and/or directs questions or concerns from patients, families, caregivers, or healthcare team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of Block 1 in Nursing or Medical Assistant (MA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) or 6 months of experience in the healthcare setting within the last year required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
