Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Retail Stylist/Sales Associate to join our team at Hammer Made. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales results, and promoting our distinctive collection of men's clothing and accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a positive and consultative service-oriented customer environment that prioritizes customer relationships and sets Hammer Made apart from other stores.
  • Drive personal daily and weekly sales results to meet monthly targets.
  • Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Offer suggestions to the leadership team about how to improve daily sales trends.
  • Ensure company standards of neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, and fitting room areas are met.
  • Take part in visual merchandising initiatives and help execute a top-quality, appealing merchandise assortment that promotes effective sales and store traffic.
  • Assist with promotion of in-store events and promotions to increase the customer base, with particular focus on building the Hammer Made brand.
Requirements
  • Interest and knowledge in fashion and the men's apparel industry.
  • Excellent selling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong relationship-building skills.
  • Kind, compassionate, and a customer-first mentality.
  • Great team player, and also able to take initiative with clients and drive sales.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
  • Problem-solving skills that can adapt in an ever-changing retail environment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
Work Environment

This job operates in a retail store environment. Physical demands include standing and being mobile on the sales floor for extended periods, walking, stooping, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
