Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in our retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering customer questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations.
  • Drive sales growth by promoting Sherwin-Williams products and services, and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards and expectations.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives, and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
