Key Responsibilities
  • Class Planning and Execution: Plan and lead group fitness classes, ensuring a safe and motivating environment for all participants.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of group fitness instructors, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Manage class schedules, monitor attendance, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal class sizes and instructor availability.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and sanitization of equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets the needs of our classes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in group fitness, incorporating new techniques and modalities into our classes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as Exercise Science, Physiology, or Kinesiology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in group fitness instruction, with a proven track record of leading classes and scheduling.
  • Certifications: Certification in group fitness instruction, such as ACE or AFAA.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of various exercise modalities and class formats, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.
