Afternoon Educators for Early Childhood

The Tobin Family of Schools is in search of dedicated Afternoon Educators to assist in our early childhood programs during afterschool hours. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for children from infancy to PreK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Availability for shifts ranging from 2 to 5 days per week, typically from 2:30/3:00 PM to 5:45/6:00 PM on weekdays.
- Collaborate with experienced co-educators across various classrooms, engaging with children from Infants through PreK.
- Opportunities for additional hours during school vacations and early release days.
- Preference for summer positions will be given to those who have worked during the school year.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in childcare is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- This position is ideal for high school students or college attendees seeking experience in education.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage of $16.50.
- 12 paid holidays annually.
- Eligibility for MA Paid Sick Time for part-time employees.
- Access to school-sponsored CPR and First Aid training.
- Paid breaks, up to 30 minutes depending on the length of the shift.
- Employee referral bonuses available.
