Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Finish Line. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Drive sales by effectively communicating product features, benefits, and promotions to customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current styles, trends, and product information.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card sales, and returns.
  • Perform visual merchandising duties, including maintaining a visually appealing store environment and ensuring product displays are attractive and well-stocked.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and counting merchandise.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Physical Demands:
  • Requires standing for approximately 5-8 hours per day, usually 3-5 days per week.
  • May be required to work long periods during peak sales periods, such as holidays and back-to-school seasons.
  • Requires stooping, kneeling, and reaching to place merchandise on customers' feet and to stock merchandise on storage racks.
  • May be required to climb ladders or ascend/descend stairs to stock and/or acquire merchandise for sale.
  • Required to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, with occasional heavier weights.
