Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Restock shelves, process inventory, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Assist with price changes, promotions, and visual merchandising.
  • Participate in inventory and cycle count processes as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using general office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to customers, cash handling, and physical activity. The noise level is moderate, and the work environment is open to the public.

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is between $19.66 to $21.09 per hour, depending on experience and location. This role is eligible for overtime compensation and shift differential. This part-time position is ineligible for benefits.
